The idea behind East West Promotions was started back in 2001 by Mike Plummer, shows were arranged on a casual basis until 2004 when he asked his friend Mark to help establish East West Promotions. EWP is run on a not for profit basis and they are not afraid to take risks and are often prepared to promote lesser known artist from this genre of music. This can pay off musically with some high energy and memorable shows. I have discovered some great acts that I would not have normally considered, and so I’m happy to go along with the choice of artists that they promote, and I would encourage that you give them a try for yourself. Also their website is wonderfully maintained and updated to keep everyone informed, which is another plus point.
